Detailed Birth Doula Support
Below is a detailed description of the services i provide as your doula. I am able to customize these services to accomodate your needs and wants with exception of any medical advice.
PRENATAL SUPPORT
- One complimentary initial consultation to answer and questions you may have before hiring a doula
- 2-3 prenatal in-home visitsDiscussion about what you envision for your “ideal birth”
- Labor, Birth, & Newborn Care Options
- Birth Plan Dialogue
- Demonstration of Comfort Measures & Positions for Labor/Birth
- Breathing Techniques
- Fear release exercise
- Unlimited Phone, Text & Email support
LABOR & BIRTH SUPPORT
- 24/7 on-call availability from 38 weeks until your baby arrives
- Position suggestion and assistance
- Light touch massage
- Use of HypnoBirthing® techniques, even if you didn’t attend classes, if desired Aromatherapy
- Helping to create and maintain a calm, peaceful and supportive birth environment for mom, partner and baby
- Support in decision making
- Preparation of food, retrieval of water, and any other desired sustenance
- Capturing of any desired photos and/or video
POSTPARTUM SUPPORT
- Immediate postpartum assistance, including breastfeeding support if needed
- One in-home post birth meeting to discuss your birth experience
- Assistance with babywearing & breastfeeding, mommy baby bonding, and newborn care advice during our in-home visit
- Referrals
- Ongoing indefinite support via phone or email
INVESTMENT
- $1100 (I collect $500 retainer fee once decided, then $600 two weeks prior to birth)
- Includes all services listed in detailed birth doula support
- Visits with your care provider (if desired)
- Back-up doula services
